Project “School and Region – New Times, New Forms of Learning
Under the title “School and Region – New Times, New Forms of Learning”, concrete tasks have been worked out at the OSZ Mals since the school year 2013/2014 within the framework of the training company (4th grade FOWI) together with partners from the region as a form of cooperation between each other and learning from each other.
The concept provides as a special form of working in small groups consisting of students, tutors and representatives of the partners. Due to the small group size, we guarantee a high quality of process and results.
The focus is on the further development of project management and media competence.
At the beginning of the school year, tasks are defined together with the project partners, which are presented to the students. The students decide on a topic according to their personal interest. In a project contract the starting position, goals and measures are defined.
In a kick-off event, the groups present themselves to their partner, the school community and the press.
Subsequently, in the first semester, two hours per week are spent on the topic.
The project ends with a final event where results are presented.
