Interesting and worth reading

Continuing our journey to the discovery of the athletes of the #ProgettoGiovani# duemila20e24, and we move from Chiari to Malles, another hotbed of young talents, which in recent years has churned out Italian champions such as Lukas Osele, Kevin Strobl and Judith Mair. And just the very young South Tyrolean ASV Malles athlete Judith Mair (13/09/2002) has chosen this year to join the Federal Project now in its sixth edition.

Also for Judith the family has had an important impact in approaching badminton among the advice of her brother Lukas and her parents Claudia and Hannes.

Judith has many passions besides badminton, among which she likes to play the guitar without forgetting that she is also passionate about cinema and she likes to listen to music.

What are your sports goals this year?
For this season I want to win the Italian Absolute Women’s Singles Championships.

What do you expect from this year in Milan?
To train well and improve in all aspects

Do you have any particular hobbies?
I like playing guitar!

When and where did you start playing and why?
I started playing in Malles since I was a child, it’s a passion that my family members have passed on to me.

At what age was the first tournament in Italy?
I don’t remember if I was eight or nine years old, under 11 tournament in Bolzano

Who has had the biggest influence on your sports career so far?
Certainly, all the members of my family, my mom Claudia and my brother Lukas who have won Italian titles, my dad Hannes who always supports me and my coach Henri.

Vittoria in doppio femminile ai Campionati Italiani Assoluti 2019.
